1) The knot in the center is really rough, what can I do about that?
a. We used to use clear nail polish to seal the knot and may have used too much in some instances. I find that if you scratch the rough section of the knot with your finger nail, it can help smooth out the roughness
2) The ends seem to fray, what can I do about this?
a. Since this is fabric, the ends may come frayed to begin with. If you don’t like this look, you can try applying clear nail polish to the ends and then trim with sharp scissors after the nail polish has dried
3) You told me the braid would stay but mine doesn’t. Why is that?
a. Depending on how active you are, the type of material your shirt is made from and how tight you make the braid, these can each have an impact on how long the braid will last. Please see simple knot to tie and have it stay in place.
Questions and Answers
1) How do I keep my beaded scarf from getting tangled?
a. Storing the scarf by hanging it over a hook. If that’s not possible, wind the scarf around your fingers similar to the way you would wind an electrical cord and leave the ends hanging out. Always handle the scarf by the ends.
2) How do I keep the large scarf from sliding up when I wear it as a double up pull through scarf?
a. We received a suggestion, once you pull it through take one of ends and put it through the loop again to keep it in place.
